Assigning an Instructor to a Course First, select the appropriate "SEMESTER/YEAR", "DEPARTMENT/SUBJECT", "COURSE", and "SECTION" (located on the left side of the page). After selecting a course, click on the "ASSIGN INSTRUCTOR "button. You may now search for an instructor by name or by SSN (See "search by instructor name" and "search by instructor SSN"). Click on the "ASSIGN INSTRUCTOR" button (located next to the instructor's name).
